Charlie has worked within sport since the age of 16 and studied Sports Science and Coaching as an educational route to a career in sport.


He is qualified in a number of sports such as Football, Basketball, Cricket, Dodgeball and more.

Charlie has gone on to work as a Primary School PE Specialist within a number of schools, as well as working as the Community Sports Manager of St. Albans City Youth Community Football Club for 5 years. 

He continues to work in the heart of Primary Sport as a Primary PE Specialist at Fleetville Junior School (where he has achieved, with the help of his superb staff and pupils, the first St. Albans Primary School to be awarded the PLATINUM Kitemark for Participation in Inter-Sport).

Charlie founded Finishing Touch Sports Ltd. in 2015 and is thoroughly excited to see the company grow to a wider clientele to promote staying active in the Hertfordshire community. 

 He has recently been awarded the accolades of Primary Sports School of the Year 2018 and Community Coach of the Year 2019 (St. Albans). 

Matt is our Human Resources and Policies Manager and remains eagerly involved with coaching at Finishing Touch Sports Ltd. with Active Birthday Parties and Active Camps as a highly qualified coach in a number of sports.

Matt combines his work with Finishing Touch Sports Ltd. with his role as a Primary School Class Teacher in Borehamwood, where he also supports the PE and Sports Provision in the community area as the Chairman of the Borehamwood Primary School Sports Consortium.

He has always had a passion for participating and coaching in sport, with previous roles as Head Coach of the St. Albans Primary Schools FA Teams and as the Assistant Head Coach of the St. Albans City FC PACE U18 side.

Matt's passion for sport began at school as he competed and participated in Football, Athletics, Cricket and Swimming teams. His sporting idols are Peter Schmeichel, Adam Peaty & Kelly Holmes.

David-Nathan took an interest in a range of sports from a young age representing St. Albans as a District and Hertfordshire as a County.

David-Nathan holds a University Degree in Sports Science and Sports Management and has worked as a P.E. Specialist in schools in London and Hertfordshire.


He is coach-accredited with qualifications in a number of sports such as Basketball, Football, Athletics, Cricket and Rugby.


David-Nathan holds experience in Sports Events Management and he currently works with the NHS's SLDS (Special Learning Disability Service) alongside his work with Finishing Touch Sports Ltd.


His experience, knowledge and skill within sport management is vital to the process of Finishing Touch Sports Ltd. Events running smoothly, efficiently and ensuring the company offers a wide and inclusive range of physical activity to the community.

Tom is the Head Coach & Coach Liaison Officer of Finishing Touch Sports Ltd. following his training through Sporting Futures Apprenticeship Scheme and working as a member of Primary School PE Staff at a number of schools in the St. Albans area, as well as hosting sessions for School Games Events in Hertfordshire.


As a youth footballer, Tom played within the Luton Town Pre Academy and Academy set up from 12-16, played for St Albans City Youth EJA, St Albans Football Academy, representing St Albans City FC in the FA Youth Cup on a number of occasions (and captaining them!).


He is an FA Qualified Coach who has worked with Herts FA, St. Albans City Youth, St. Albans City EJA, St Albans Football Academy, Secondary School Sports Teams and continues to do a superb job as FTS Lead Coach in the St. Albans Community (and is heading into his third year as a volunteer coach for St. Albans District Team!).

Outside of football, Tom holds a Level 3 Diploma in Sports Coaching & Fitness Training, plays for Verulamiums Rugby Football Club and enjoys competing in Tennis and Basketball. Tom is qualified in a number of sports at both a Primary, Secondary and Coach accredited level.

Harry is an experienced Sports Coach who is currently studying Physical Education and Sport at University of Greenwich.

He totals over 5 years experience in teaching Primary PE & Sport, in that period he has been accredited with numerous sporting qualifications.

Harry is an F.A. Qualified Coach and manages a team for Borehamwood Youth.

In his spare time, Harry promotes being active by competing in worldwide marathons, recently achieving his PB of 3:32:32 in Madrid, Spain.

Harry has worked in USA Summer Camps for 2 consecutive years as the Lead Athletics Coach and gained experience as a coach in a number of famous American sports as well as Soccer (Football) and Gaelic Football.

He is inspired by Mo Farah (and has been lucky enough to meet him!) and his passion for sport started as a young arsenal fan thanks to the likes of Thierry Henry and Arsene Wenget.

Amalie is currently studying in Sixth Form in St. Albans and holds experience in coaching Netball, Basketball and Football.

She is a volunteer Swimming Coach for Inclusive sessions and Level 7 Qualified Referee (Football) working within the Senior County Cup and Watford Friendly Leagues.

Amalie competes for a number of teams in her school, across Football, Netball and Basketball.

Amalie has shown great determination in her sporting participation and competition and has achieved an impressive goal in becoming a regular for MK Dons Women First Team.


She is a Watford FC fan and her inspiration as a high-level footballer comes from England International,
Lucy Bronze.

Jack works as a Session Coach with Finishing Touch Sports Ltd for Active Birthday Parties and Extra Curricular Primary School Clubs.

He is an enthusiastic coach that ensures that sports values are promoted and implemented into all sessions to benefit the growth of participants in both their skill and their physical and mental wellbeing.

Jack is sports-mad and has enjoyed participating for a team in sporting activity since the age of 5.

Jack is an avid Leeds United Fan and his inspiration in sport for both participating and coaching, comes from Jermaine Beckford. Jermaine inspired Jack that no matter who you are, what your background is, when it comes to sport, everyone is equal and if you stay determined you can compete at the highest level you want.

Finlay has 2 years coaching experience through his DofE volunteer work in the community, working with Finishing Touch Sports Ltd. Lead Coaches and with St. Albans City Youth sides.

Fin currently participates and competes in a number of sports and represents St. Albans City F.C at U18 Level.

Fin is a qualified FA Referee and also enjoys cricket.

He is an avid Watford fan and he continues to work closely as a volunteer within the St. Albans Sports Community, featuring as part of the NEW St. Albans City Football Club Crest Reveal.

In his opening year with Finishing Touch Sports Ltd, Fin inspired many children of his former Primary School in Sport by giving up his spare time to aid their growth and enjoyment of Primary Football.

Seth has worked with Finishing Touch Sports Ltd. for a number of years, beginning as a volunteer and then working into his role as a Junior Session Coach.

Seth is a multi-talented sportsperson who competes and participates in a number of sports across school and community level.

Seth has worked with over 500 children in his time as a Coach with Finishing Touch Sports Ltd. and has been recognised by his peers for his attention to detail in going the extra mile to learn and grow as a sports coach within the St. Albans Community.

Mollie is an experienced sports coach who is currently studying Primary Education at University of Hertfordshire after previously completing study in sport and exercise science.

Mollie has worked within many St. Albans Primary Schools, delivering Curriculum PE, Extra Curricular Clubs and Sports Team Events.

She is an FA Qualified Coach and currently coaches and manages a St Albans City Youth Girls football team.

Previously, Mollie has played Football for Clubs such as Reading, QPR and Millwall as a goalkeeper who now uses her knowledge from playing herself to implement into active sessions.

Tom is currently completing studies of Sports Coaching & Development at University of Herts.

Tom has over six years experience in coaching, working in various roles and currently managing a team in the St Albans City Youth setup. Tom is also part of the Luton Town Development Coaching Team and has spent the last year coaching in the St Albans Schools Primary FA setup.

He has also previously coached internationally, spending two months leading the coaching for one of the most prestigious Under 18 Ghanaian academy teams.

Tom is currently beginning his UEFA B license qualification and will be completing this throughout the upcoming season.

Tom is a Chelsea fan and takes inspiration from the likes of Frank Lampard and John Terry, as players and now as coaches.

Emma is an experienced Sports Coach who has recently graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a degree in Physical Education and School Sports.

She has been coaching football for over 10 years, starting her journey at St Albans City Youth working with a variety of girls teams. She worked her way up through the ranks and became Head Goalkeeper Coach.

During her time at Uni she developed knowledge in a variety of sports and taught in many Primary and Secondary schools across Sheffield.

She has recently represented GB U23's at international level in the sport of Goalball and hopes to continue this development and compete at the Paralympic games.

Peter Rock

Peter works as a Session Coach with Finishing Touch Sports Ltd for Active Birthday Parties and Extra Curricular Primary School Clubs. Having just completed a Level 3 Diploma in Sports with Pro Direct Academy, he is continuing with the FA Coaching qualification and personal training development.

His positive mental attitude approach, to succeed and compete to your best, is what drives him.

He is passionate about team work within football and focuses on technique and tactics. Thriving on seeing others improve their game and perform to their potential, he enjoys players developing their individual skills within the team framework.

From a young age Peter has always loved sports, football being his biggest passion and playing for a lot of clubs and currently playing Saturday and Sunday league football.

He is a Manchester United fan and Watford FC locally and takes inspiration from some of the great young players like Marcus Rashford who proved to Peter than in football anything can happen, he believes that hard work will always beat talent!
